11 February: Fourth day of testing at Jerez - Button fastest. At Silverstone, Jordan conclude testing. Testing continued today at the Jerez track with 6 teams and 12 drivers setting lap times. Today Jenson Button bettered the fastest time set yesterday by Alonso by a few hundredths of a second with a time of 1:15.680. Juan Pablo Montoya was again second fastest with a time of 1:16.198 followed by Michael Schumacher with a time of 1:16.668. No major problems today and the teams managed to complete their scheduled programmes. Nick Heidfeld completed the most number of laps with 130 laps followed by Jenson Button with 129. With the exception of Luca Badoer and Juan Pablo Montoya, all the drivers covered in excess of 100 laps. BAR and Toyota remain at Jerez tomorrow for a wet tyre test. Teams move to Barcelona next week from the 15th of February. All the teams except BAR, Sauber and Minardi are scheduled there. At Silverstone the Jordan team concluded testing with the EJ15. Conditions remained damp on Friday but the team managed to run two cars with Tiago Monteiro and Narain Karthikeyan.
