| 16 December: Testing at the Jerez circuit Circuit: Jerez circuit – 4.428 km Fourth day of testing this week – the last of 2005 - for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working once again today at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit, in southern Spain. Michael Schumacher was on track today, alternating behind the wheel of the two cars available: the F2005 fitted with a regulated power engine and the F2004 M, running the V8 engine. The German driver completed a total of 114 laps; 30 with the F2004 M and 84 with the F2005. The best time on the day was a 1’18”576. “I am happy to be back driving again and I am very pleased with these two days of testing at Jerez, which went off without any particular problems,” commented Michael at the end of the day. “It shows the team has worked well over the past few weeks, as has Bridgestone on the tyre front. I can’t wait to be back on track when testing resumes. I would like to wish everyone a good Christmas and a happy 2006!”
