There is a sprinkle of rain at the top of the mountain.

Bright's car needs another 8 laps of fuel to make the finish

Lap 145 and the spots are getting bigger. Looks like we might need wet tyres to see the chequered flag.

Winterbottom takes the lead.
Lowndes takes second.
Bright slots into third.
Johnson in fourth.
Murphy fifth.
Courtney sixth.

A.Davison eighth.

Lap 148 and the safety car peels off.

It's a race to the flag. Nose to tail and it is slippery on the top of the mountain.

Winterbottom & Lowndes get a buffer
Bright & Johnson side by side into the cutting
Winterbottom overshoots the cutting.

Winterbottoms off on the last lap was huge.

Into the sandtrap on the outside of the chase. (280km/h)
Through the sand trap with huge air
Across the track nearly taking out Lowndes.

Some cars are returning to the pits for wets. Some are stayin out.

Ingall returns to the pits to retire.

Winterbottom will pit for wets. There are many wipers going.

Winterbottom's FPR Falcon has a flat right front tyre. Possible suspension damage but may get away with it. Thumbs up. Rejoins.
Looks like they are the only team pitting at this moment.

Skaife and Bright's cars remain at the top of the mountain. It's all over for them. Tough luck for Bright. Thought he may have had the right strategy to take out this one.
