Graham, I am sorry I did not have the time to send personal reminders. Yes your picks will roll over. Hopefully, we will be a lot more professional next season, with a bigger group, and Ed can look at a "call for picks" similar to F1.

I see Tag and Marshall didn't do too bad for qualifying at Sandown....what were they, a second-and-half off P1? Not bad for their first time there, especailly Tag.

From qualifying the teams were given a 15 minute break to prepare for the shootout

A couple of minor surprises there.
With a long race ahead of them the sensible guys will stick to their strategies and try to
a/ Stay out of trouble
b/ Stay on the lead lap.
Sandown usually sees a couple of damaged cars as they come past the finish line for the 1st time
Nowadays the enduros are long distance sprints.The days of being able to drop back a lap, and make it up over the closing stages are just about gone. The cars are too quick over the entire field, and are reliable.
Hope you all did well in your picks.
There will be a quick resume after the race and a review in the days after.

a respectable time, with so little practice. Neither would have much experience of these monsters in full flight, and for Tags, and to point also Marshall these days, everything is on the wrong side of the car. If they can stay out of trouble, anything can happen, and they will that much quicker when "The Mountain" looms into view. Mind you, no matter how much they try to prepare him, Tags will be taking a quick breath when he sees "the Mountain" for the 1st time.

After seeing all those pictures of Bathurst, I don't believe Tag knows what he's gotten himself into. I get the feeling that if he doesn't come up with a decent finish(top-half of the grid or better) at Sandown and/or Bathurst, that Bronte'll kick his carcass from one end of the Pacific to the other.

Unless Tags takes Bronte for a hot lap of The Mountain. Bronte's legs would be too wobbly to kick anything for a while.

All right, julian. On what you said about Tag taking Bronte for a hot lap around "the mountain"...depends on what you mean by "hot lap".

We have promotion days where for vast amounts of money, you can have yourself strapped into a "passenger seat" of a V8 supercar and have yourself driven around a track on a " Hot Lap", usually about 1 sec off race pace. On return to the pits most people require assistance to stand for a while, and a change of underwear.
