Garth Tander has taken out the round of Symmons Plains with 3 staight wins
S Richards was 2nd overall
R Kelly was 3rd overall

The Holden Dealer team celebrated a 1-2 with Rick Kelly following Tander over the line.
Lowndes was third. He was followed by S Richards with Greg Murphy, close behind.
The Drive of the weekend belongs to Ambrose who fought his way from 27th.........to 6th.

The championship will be decided at Phillip Isle in 2 weeks time with the points spread narrowed after this round
Ingall leads, followed by Lowndes 29 points behind and Ambrose a further 30 points back.
The Mountain is a savage Mistress.

The points figures above are incorrect (supplied by Ch 10 commentators)
Lowndes is 49 points behind Ingall
Ambrose is 86 points behind Ingall
Tod Kelly is 122 points behind Ingall
Skaife is 132 points behind Ingall
Steven Richards is 153 points behind Ingall.

If Ingall finishes 8th or better in each race at Phillip Island he will win the title.
