Waiting for the return of F1

Post by jacfan » Tue Jan 09, 2007 12:10 am

It is basically a boring time of year. No F1 or motogp to watch... nothing on TV worth the time and effort.. So what is everyone doing to keep amused during this time? I have been spending quite a bit of time playing poker with Jeremy or going for a walk.

I've been following the cricket. Both the Australia v England and NZ v Sri Lanki.

The main event for me this year will be the Rugby union World cup. 8) :)
Another eight months to wait.

I follow the NBA games nowadays. And a bit of EPL too.

I read what other people do in the off season.
Fish
Ride waves, motorbikes, horses, and my luck.
Take Therapy out to play with the Highway Patrol
Hide
Have, or go to at least 5 BBQs a week
Leave dead things lying around for people to poke with sticks
(then sneak up behind them and make the appropriate noise, as they do it.)
Think about going to the gym, (usually at 1 am)
Walk around making brrrrrrrrrrrrmmmmm blat blat blat brrrrrrrrrrrrmmm noises (usually at 2am)
Have nightmares, and thresh awake thinking about trivia answers.
Pray daily....for the end of school holidays.

:that:

It will be different next season, Alonso in a McLaren, Raikkonen in a Ferrari, no Villeneuve or Schumacher

But it will be a great season and I can't wait for them to start testing the new cars :D
I'm back and yes supporting Alonso "The Cute" in the Ferrari!
