Yeah. Given their performance I believe they will reach late stages too. Perhaps even the conference finals. But in all honesty I doubt that they will get the cup though...

Unless anything changes, here are the expected seedings for the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs..........

In the East.....................
#8 NY Islanders vs. #1 Buffalo
#5 Pittsburgh vs. #4 Ottawa
#6 NY Rangers vs. #3 Atlanta
#7 Tampa Bay vs. #2 New Jersey

In the West....................
#8 Calgary vs. #1 Detroit
#5 San Jose vs. #4 Nashville
#6 Dallas vs. #3 Vancouver
#7 Minnesota vs. #2 Anaheim

My prediction........Thwashers/Predators in the Stanley Cup Finals, where(hopefully in Atlanta!!!) Nashville will hoist up ole' Lord Stanley's Cup and haul it back to central Tennessee......

For some reason I don't see the Preds getting the trophy. I have an eerie feeling that the Ducks will surprise people... I could be wrong but... I dunno

They played the Sharks to 2 overtimes Wednesday; that was a heck of a game(then again.....Dallas/Vancouver went to 4 OT's....about 138 minutes icetime....

As to the Ducks; they are leading 1-0 over the Wild; then again, it's a 7-game series....who knows what can happen?

NJ-TB matchup proved to be the most exciting yet. I am amazed how incompetent the Devils can look at times. During the regular season they play a lot better.
