Weather here in March is usually great. Are you coming to Melbourne for the Grand Prix? Is colder in the southern parts of Australia but still nice.

Wanna go there too one day. I am shooting for 2008. But that shall yet remain to be seen.

It is a good race... though Julian doesn't like it because of the V8s. If you are there for the F1 though it is good. :D :D :D :D

I like Albert Park. Only if it weren't 36 hrs flight from everywhere... Last year I tried to book a flight to Melbourne. The guy asked for USD 2,800. And that's economy class. I started to build a raft already.

Tell me about it. I was just standing there trying to figure out where they had the candid cam running. They even dared to give me the usual "peak season" spiel. Better forget it. I usually fly between Europe and the US for USD 400...

FYI.... I was only going on things you had said before..... When Lloyd asked where was the best spot to watch the Melbourne GP from you said...
Spoken nasally, yup, save your money and go to the Clipsal 500
You then went on to say
Tis just that they have treated the V8 supercars with contempt for so long. ie the teams are not even allowed to hand out free posters .
I love F1, but I love motor racing more. The premier class of racing in Australia is V8Supercars. The local single seater boys get to piggyback on them in front of the biggest audiences they could have imagined.
and....
Of course, the best spot for the Melb GP is Sydney
So I do believe that given your comments that the Melbourne GP was not your favourite.

When the V8s will be back
Yes it is possible to have two or more loves but don't go getting all snotty with me because of stuff you wrote and I took to be your opinion.
