What about not having stickies???

A sticky should be a tool for an owner or moderator to make an announcement, or give information that all members need to see.

If the subject matter is of interest to the member, the thread will stay on top, if and when the interest wanes (seppling) the thread will sink towards the murky bottom of the Lounge, there is a plethora of stickies all over this place, and no real need for most(any) of them.

Cordially yours,

8)

That is a very valid point and we try to minimise them.

In the lounge we'll have these two (sport and entertainment) because they are pointers for relaxing and people may not want to post a reply.
On the other forums, the sticky ones are for the current race/8'n'Pole/Trivia as well as the 2005 Championship Results.

For the V8's, refer to Julian :D

I will make sure there aren't any old ones there.

Satisfied or still want more!!

You realise shouting at Ed doesn't help

As I've tried to explain, some of the posts may not have enough replies to ensure they stay on top yet people may need them and having to look for them could be frustrating.

But as I said, we will make sure there are only very few of those stickies!

Yes sir I do. Which is why I followed the out-burst with a twisted evil smilie, indicating this a Danish attempt at humour. I fully understand and even agree with the posted.
