When I lived in the real bush, if furniture was floating down the main street of Lismore, the more optimistic farmers took that as a possible indicator of a portent that there might be an indication of a hint of the possibility that the drought might be easing back just a tad. There is furniture floating down the main street of Lismore, according to the radio, sorry, wireless

over in good old perth we've had more rain in 2 months than we had all last year (just about). must be the global cooling no-one is talking about.

the last 2 - 3 summers have been mild and winter is same as usual.

Just got back indoors, shook the cats n dogs offen my raincoat, and had a look at the weather radar. DO NOT GO OUTSIDE TOMORROW, unless you absolutely have to. The weather itself may abate, but hot damn a tree falling in front of you cos its roots are unstable cos of the drought really gets your atention. Somebody remind me to fit a new set of brake pads to "therapy" soon, please.
There is a low forming outside my front door, which is right up the clacker of the current low that is making your socks n stockings soggy. It appears to be drawing energy towards it, rather than being sucked into, as the "BOM" would call it an "existing precipitation event".... to me, that means "it is raining"
My front door is on a cliff somewhere twixt Sydney n N'castle, ( right JV?) and I look at the weather happening.
I do not have to get up til 11am . I do not have to go out til noon, And I own a pair of gumboots. sorry guys, I think I just gloated

Yaeh it does look good out there. Instead of sitting in my cold little office, I have two appointments today. Ahhh.. the gods have smiled upon me. Could it be any better? Manly and Watsons Bay. Wonder if there is anywhere decent to eat around Watsons Bay? Oh of course there is. And I think I should very much like to take the bridge today, not the tunnel. The view is worth the extra couple of minutes.
Ok, Lewis may win the WDC in 07, but Sato will beat him in 08.
