Is it just me, or did these geniuses watch "The Blues Brothers" just a few times too many......? :shock: :shock: :shock: :lol:

In Copenhagen, Denmark, two would-be thieves decided to go for a joyride of sorts, driving a car through the ground floor of a department store before trying to ram their way through a security barrier near the jewelry counter.........eventually driving out of the department store on the opposite end. Police recovered the stolen car used but the suspects are still at large.

One thing's for sure.......Elwood Blues and Joliet Jake they ain't!!! :lol: :lol: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :lol:

Remember on the first page of this thread T-K listed some people who shouldn't be allowed into society of something of that nature.....add these three to the list.

~~Police in Chesterfield Twnship., Mich. arrested a 21 yo man at an area Wal-mart after trying to cash a counterfeit check for $848; what's so comical about this is the man apparently forgot about the charity event the police were holding there and the 80 or so officers present in the building. According to a police spokesman, "(He) was apprenhended immediately." :lol: :lol: :shock: :shock:

~~A 28 yo Everett, Wash. man was arrested on attempted murder charges after stabbing his estranged wife's boyfriend; when interrogated by police detectives, he allegedly said, "What do you mean attempted? I stuck him like a pig. What do you mean, he's still alive?" :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

~~Finally, in Hanover Twnship., Pa. a 20 yo man was arrested on multiple vandalism charges for beating in car windows with a baseball bat. When the local news ran a story on the arrest of someone for the alleged vandalism, this genius called the station to tell them....the police had the wrong man; police later arrested him once they had his address. :shock: :shock:

How not to use the 911 emergency system.........

Post by mlittle » Wed Feb 21, 2007 3:05 pm

As in most countries, the United States has an emergency phone system known simply as 911.....call, and emergency services are rushed to any location in minutes. However, there are some geniuses who, for whatever reason, decide to use 911 for......other reasons..... :shock: :shock: :shock:

A woman employed to take Peter Brock's body to the mortuary, from his smashed car, has been charged with theft. A large piece of fibreglass with his famous racing number "05" was found at her home. Police were puzzled when trying to reassemble the wreck for the Coroner's Inquest.
Given that it was a sealed off "crime scene" there were very few people with the opportunity to remove it.
DOH!

Didn't You Ever Want to Do THIS to Your Teachers Growing Up? :lol: :lol: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :twisted: :twisted:

A middle school student in Muncie, Ind. is facing expulsion for....uhh, for....hmm, how can I put it.........pouring urine into assorted coffeepots at Wilson Middle School. :twisted: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

Apparently, several teachers noticed one morning that their cups of coffee had an unusual smell to them and began asking around school for any information......the student who did the foul deed was caught when some of his classmates told school officials. When they searched his locker, they found......you guessed it, a bottle of urine. Or, to be more precise, a bottle of slightly old urine. :lol: :shock2: :shock2: :shock2: :shock2: :shock2: :shock2:

Unfortunately for the student in question, he has suspended pending expulsion hearings by the Muncie Community Schools District. :evil: :lol:

From the "Hey, let's imitate the Blues Brothers" file.............

In an effort to get back at his ex-girlfriend, a Mineola, NY man decided to express his anger at her by rampaging through the shopping center she worked at...........with his car, all the while trying to escape from police who were in pursuit of him for multiple charges of arson. Amazingly, despite doing tens of thousands of dollars of damage to the center, no one was injured........not even the alleged Blues Bros. imitator, who was arrested by police and now sits in jail awaiting trial on charges of reckless driving, aggravated assault, felony property damage and multiple counts of arson. :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

Don't you just hate it when the police interrupt your illegal activities? :wink: :wink: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

Three men in Chicago's SouthSide found that out the hard way when they were arrested for possession and distribution of marijuana; police confiscated over 100 lbs. of the "wacky tobacco"(street value about $670,000......... :shock: :shock: ) when they happened upon the trio packaging said narcotic......what had happened to get the police to arrest them?

Essentially what happened was that several Chicago cops were chasing another person who they had spotted urinating in public; in the course of chasing that criminal, the police ran right past an open garage, where the trio of potheads were packaging there product. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

Hey Officers.......can you help me find my cocaine?

For several months Immigration & Customs Enforcement border agents thought it was suspicious of their suspect to be constantly crossing the U.S./Canadian border with large sums of cash on hand, carrying a GPS unit and night-vision goggles.....their suspicions were confirmed when the man went to one ICE agent in early August and asked him to help find 2 stashes of cocaine he had left at a Boy Scout camp just north of the U.S./Canada border...... :lol: :lol: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

2 weeks later, Boy Scouts found the cocaine and ICE agents arrested the man on multiple counts of cocaine possession and non-reporting of cash transfers across international borders(U.S. law prohibits individuals arriving/leaving U.S. territory from transporting cash amounts greater than $10,000 at any one time).

How's This For Bad Luck and Bad Timing?

Police outside of Detroit saw a rather bizarre sight recently.......two drunk drivers had appearently crashed their cars into.......the same business. :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

For some reason, the pair(each in separate cars) were heading north out of Detroit when they both lost control of their vehicles and crashed into the Classic Carpet Floor Studio in Highland Township, Mich.; police arrested the pair after they fled from their cars...... :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

I don't think this is what they had in mind when they suggested marriage counseling..........

A woman in Port St. Lucie, Fla. was arrested recently after trying to run over her husband about 20 times or so following a dispute over $300..........witness to the chase was the couple's infant child, who was strapped in a childseat in the mini-van the woman used in her 20 attempts to run over her husband.....so what she did get for her, umm....efforts?
~~$2750 bail
~~charged w/aggravated assault
~~charged w/child abuse
~~charged w/assault with a deadly weapon

I've heard of criminals offering bribes to police officers, but this..........

Iowa City police arrested a 25yo individual for driving while intoxicated(DUI); while they were taking him to the police station for booking and arraignment, the inebriated individual tried to offer a bribe......free sub sandwiches in exchange for letting him off for the DUI........ :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

(quoting from multiple sources)
~~~~San Francisco officials seek toilet torcher
Construction workers are anxious and investigators are puzzled. Someone has been sending San Francisco's portable toilets up in flames in a wave of potty pyromania.
"It's an outrage," said Scott Johnson, a 57-year-old contractor who has been working on apartment building renovations on Russian Hill, the elegant neighborhood that is home to famously crooked Lombard Street and has had most of the fires.
Since November, at least 20 of the ubiquitous construction site toilets have been set afire in the city, creating a trail of malodorous wreckage and causing an estimated $50,000 in property damage, according to fire officials.
Investigators have little to go on. Most of the fires have been set at night, although one portable potty burst into flames during a recent afternoon.
"Somebody's getting very bold," said Fire Department Lt. Mindy Talmadge. It's not unheard of for vandals to strike the portable restrooms but "this is unusual," she said.
Contractors have been trying to foil the attacks by securing or camouflaging their industrial outhouses. A walk around Russian Hill last week found almost none of the familiar bright blue toilets, save for one lashed to a large metal trash bin and another tucked discreetly behind folds of black material.
Theories vary on who is responsible.
"Kids would be my guess," said Johnson.
Alex Rodriguez, president of Concord-based Far West Sanitation & Storage Containers, thinks whoever is doing it is motivated by the thrill of lawlessness, "trying to play catch-and-seek with the police." His company has lost a couple of units to the restroom arson.
The loss of a portable toilet can amount to several hundred dollars.
Plus, there is the unenviable job of cleaning up a disgusting mess, and there is the threat that a fire could spread.
"It kind of worries me and worries everybody that I talk to," Rodriguez said. "These people, I don't think they're criminals, but they are kind of out of their minds to do that."
Some days it is just not worth getting out of bed!!!
Accused bank robber David Maksimik arrested after tough day.
IS this the world's unluckiest bank robber?
David Maksimik, 59, not only bungled his getaway he even ended up calling police to the home where he'd stashed his haul, according to US media reports.
Connecticut police claim Mr Maksimik robbed the People's United Bank on Old Kings Highway north, in Darien, with a fake grenade strapped to his waist and a gun on January 29.
He reportedly escaped, but then crashed his getaway vehicle into another car.
The Associated Press reports the hapless Mr Maksimik needed to hail a bus, then a taxi, before eventually calling his sister to pick him up.
But the Connecticut Post reports when Mr Maksimik finally made it home, he found his roommate dead and called emergency services.
Police responding to the suicide say they found bank money totalling $US3745 ($5378) inside a bag on Mr Maksimik's bed and arrested him.
