First place comments:
A1 Team Brazil?s Nelson Piquet Jr: ?We had problems with the pit stop and Power managed to leave in front of me so I got a bit worried. My team told me to push very hard until the end so I did and eventually managed to overtake him which I never expected. The car was really good, excellent in the second race and I could have pushed much harder if I wanted.?
Second Place:
A1 Team Australia?s Will Power: I?m happy with second as it is a really good result for Australia to be on the Podium. At the end of the day we weren?t quick enough to win it and it would have been hard to keep Nelson behind me the whole way. I suffered from oversteer but I tried to do neat and consistent laps. When Nelson passed me it was a very good manoeuvre at the end of the day he was by me and there was no use banging wheels.?
Third Place:
A1 Team Mexico?s Salvador Duran: ?I think we were very quick but I had two cars in front of me who had been lapped making it difficult for me to pass. I managed to keep Matt behind me which was hard as he is a very good driver at the end of the day it was an awesome result for Mexico. It was a first for me as I have never done a pit stop.?

looks like it was a good race for the top nine, not too much between them
PK Jr must be wrapt
Would that have been the highest finish by Yoong in any formula?

I bit of a battle at the front as well. Shame I couldn't see it.

I agree, he might just be like his dad.

Nice to see Alex get there. I think he may be the only person on the grid with F1 racing experience. He has tried in heaps of categories but never got success. It will be interesting to see how he goes throughout the season.

It was good to see Will getting second. He started from 4th on the grid. Might just get him noticed in F1 circiles a bit more. I bet Will Davidson is just gagging to get in the car. Those two are probably going to race most of the mainstream tracks and Jones will probably race the Asian tracks.

Julian, Yoong raced ChampCars back in 2003(at least a couple of races)....here were his finishes for Dale Coyne Racing:
Monterrey--9th(out of 19 cars)
Long Beach--19th(out of 19 cars)
Brands Hatch--18th(out of 19 cars)
EuroSpeedway--17th(out of 19 cars).

Maybe a season of A1Gp'll give him a chance to get back into a couple of other series next year.
The Sci-Fi Station Come by and visit when you get the chance. :)
The Wayward Tarheel I'm even in the blogosphere....
