Last season, the Mercedes were nowhere to be seen in qualifying and the race. The best that they could manage was 5th and 6th in qualifying and 4th in the race. I don't think that this will happen again this year. That said, they will be up against it with the Red Bulls leading the way and maybe a Ferrari sitting too close for comfort.

It think that this will be an exciting race.

Your thoughts?

Driver of the Day has to go to Sebastian Vettel. To start at the rear of the field an finish in 5th at a track where passing is difficult, he deserves my vote.

I think Rosberg, Ricciardo, Raikkonen, Vettel and Alonso all had superb races. Had Ricciardo managed to catch Rosberg early enough, it would have been a great finish. I think Rosberg drove one of his best races and controlled the situation from the front without making mistakes. He gets my driver of the day

Voted for Rosberg. Could've been Vettel, but Rosberg was utterly dominant and Hamilton was nowhere. Good weekend for Raikkonen too, though they should've kept him out. Ironic that Mercedes making a smart strategy call for Hamilton almost proved Pyrrhic for Rosberg.
