Re: The 2017 Italian GP thread
I think that Ferrari in Italy with Vettel will be difficult to beat.
I really don't think that there will be too much between the title contenders so I have given the home field advantage to Ferrari with 1st & 3rd while Mercedes are given 2nd and 4th.
And I have thrown in the 2 unluckiest drivers to finish in the 10 with Palmer finally getting a point.
So, here are my tips for Italy '17
Winner: Sebastian Vettel
Second: Lewis Hamilton
Third: Kimi Raikkonen
Fourth: Valtteri Bottas
Fifth: Max Verstappen
Sixth: Daniel Ricciardo
Seventh: Esteban Ocon
Eighth: Sergio Perez
Ninth: Nico Hulkenberg
Tenth: Jolyon Palmer
Pole: Sebastian Vettel

Alonso is also taking a 35 position penalty.
Sainz has a 10 place penalty.
All are for engine or engine component replacements above the allocation.

FP2 Results
Sainz looks like he broke a turbo but this is my observation.
Magnussen had a suspension failure and stopped safely on track.

Qualifying
Qualifying commenced at the scheduled time however, Romain Grosjean crashed at the end on the main straight bringing out the red flags. Decisions were then made that the conditions were too dangerous and qualifying was brought to a halt for near 3 hours.
Now. Grid penalties.
Alonso 35, Ricciardo 25, Verstappen 20, Sainz 10, Hulkenberg 10, Palmer 15.
Ricciardo was penalized an additional 5 places for an unscheduled gearbox change.
