This weekend we are back to Malaysia where anything can happen.

So far, Ferrari's and Red Bulls have been quick and Mercedes have not yet been on the pace.

Pierre Gasly has replaced Daniil Kvyat in Toro Rosso's second car.

The Haas of Grosjean had an unfortunate accident through no fault of theirs when a drain cover was flipped up by the two preceding cars. Grosjean arrived on the scene, ran his normal line and the cover caused a catastrophic failure of the right rear sending him into the barrier and ending FP2.

Ferrari changed Vettel's engine for an older unit and this unit then failed. He will probably take multiple penalties and start from the rear of grid.

DNF	Carlos Sainz Toro Rosso
DNS	Kimi Räikkönen Ferrari
Kimi has a loss of power going to the grid and was subsequently pushed back into his pit. He failed to take his grid position at the start.
Vettel drove well from the rear of field on an alternate tyre strategy which almost paid off.
Ricciardo held off the charge and retained his third position on the podium and vettel's charge faded.
More drama as, on the slow down lap, Stroll and Vettel came together resulting in substantial damage to the Ferrari.
