Re: The 2018 German GP Thead
The Ferrari's are a hot chance to do the unthinkable in Mercedes backyard. The recent spate of problems in the silver arrows garage has shown just how must pressure the they are being put under by the Maranello marauders.
That said, German pride will rise to the surface and the Mercedes will be bringing all that they can to this event to prevent this happening.
Red Bulls will again be pushing these two teams but I feel that they will not quite be there.
Haas should be the next best and then it really gets interesting with Force India, Renault, McLaren and Sauber fighting out this mid field.
Toro Rosso have struggled a bit of late and it will be up to Gasly to show what he is made of. I feel that Hartley has used all his chances and, if he has a good result, it may prevent the inevitable. The two Williams will prop up the field.

FP2 Results
Teams seemed to be settling into their programs and not yet showing their true speed.
The usual suspects were at the top of the time sheets except Ricciardo spending the whole session concentrating on his long run pace. A small spin early into his run was about the only incident to occur in this session.
The weather forecast for Saturday and Sunday looks like there could be some rain.
