The first big seat in 2019's musical chairs has been taken by Ricciardo signing for Renault.
Now watch the signings come thick and fast as teams grab their next best options.

Another driver going sideways .... I am not sure how long Renault will take to get up there! Would have been good to see Ricciardo in a Ferrari or Mercedes .... he beat Vettel when both were at Red Bull hence Vettel has a veto on him but can't understand why Mercedes didn't grab him.

The number of mistakes Vettel continues to make, I can't understand how and why Ferrari are still counting on him to deliver. Even Leclerc who is impressive may not have the seat and they could continue with Raikkonen! Why I wonder

I hope Sainz goes to Red Bull, should be fun with Verstappen

Force India have been bought by a consortium led by Lawrence Stroll.
Does this mean that Lance Stroll is going to look pretty in pink next season?

There's still 12 seats to be officially filled.

Not sure how to feel like about Leclerc joining Ferrari. Doesn't seem like a good match. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Welcome Jim
I just feel that the kid has shown so much potential that Ferrari isn't going to risk losing him to somewhere else that may just come back and bite them.

Raikkonen has been at Ferrari for 2 seasons too long in my opinion. They keep catering for Vettel and Vettel isn't delivering ... too many mistakes last season and this one.

I think Ferrari finally realised that then need to get someone fresh into the team, to mix things up. I remember a young Ricciardo beating Vettel in his first year at Red Bull ... I would not be surprised if Leclerc did the same (does anyone even notice the other Sauber driver ?)

Antonio Giovinazzi has been signed to partner Kimi Raikkonen at Sauber for 2019.
8 seats left...
I have taken Kevin Magnussen out of the Haas seat as there has been no official confirmation of his signing.

Daniil Kvyat was confirmed as one driver for Toro Roso for 2019.
The question is, "Who will partner him next season?"
I don't think that Hartley will be hanging around and the out of contract Frenchman will be taking his place.
5 seats left.
And that number includes the seat that Lance Stroll is expected to be offered at Force India.
