Here are my picks:
Winner: Sebastian Vettel
Second: Fernando Alonso
Third: Lewis Hamilton
Fourth: Jenson Button
Fifth: Mark Webber
Sixth: Felipe Massa
Seventh: Robert Kubica
Eighth: Nico Rosberg
Ninth: Vetaly Petrov
Tenth: Rubens Barrichello
Pole: Sebastian Vettel
Put in both Renaults as they did well at the Hungaroring, which is apparently quite similar. Shocker of a race for Webber last time (DNF). I think Vettel will bounce back, not unlike a rubber chicken.

Oh my goodness! We're back to the place that wrecks reputations (in more ways than one) a looney race through narrow streets under artificial light. I know the Webbo has a new engine, but he's a stranger to the points in this old colony. I know Ferrari is ALWAYS able to ***k up their own chances, but I think this race will be Fernando's from lap one to the end.
Here's my bold picks (and I'm getting closer to the top hundred (my rank after Moonza is 134 out of 2998):
1. Fernando Alonso: it's his race to lose and I think he wants to have four wins just like Mark, so I expect him to take the pole and the race
2. Lewis Hamilton: I think Red Bull will struggle here again, Sebastian has a fourth and a fifth here and I don't see him improving that much
3. Mark Webber: I think he'll drive a very smart race with his new engine, but I don't see him overcoming his grid spot (4th or 5th?)
4. Sebastian Vettel: see Hamilton, above
5. Felipe Massa: this is iffy, but the Brazilian has consistently done better than I thought he would ... and I won't be too surprised if he makes a podium finish
6. Jenson Button: it looks like his light is fading fast
7. Robert Kubica: if he could just catch a break... or a ride!
8. Nico Rosberg: even if it is a silver sled, the bright Austrian has a good record here in Singapore (second in '08)
9. Michael Schumacher: another quality drive in a less than quality car
10. Rubens Barrichello: Michael's old team mate will try to get round him, but it's a street course remember and nobody can block like Michael can block.
Pole: Fernando Alonso. He should leave the rest to eat his dust

Sorry I thought you meant the last race not the last race in singapore.Thaddeus wrote:Nope, Webber didn't finish the last race in Singapore, had brake failure, apparently. I don't think he qualified that well last time either.
