I'd be surprised if Vettel weren't on the podium. His race performances recently have been very solid. He got an unexpectedly good fourth a few races ago, when he had engine woe for a few laps, was a mile ahead of 3rd place two races ago, and won with ease last time.
Hamilton's got to go for it. A bad race for the Britons means that their challenge ends in Korea.

Well, chaps, Let's hope the surface holds up and no one gets hurt! That said, here are me picks:
1. Sebastian Vettel: the kid wants to join his partner & Fernando with four wins; he's been driving extremely well lately and he's good on brand new circuits, too.
2. Mark Webber: he's too smart to try a pass at this stage, so if the kid gets off the line well, he'll settle in behind him and smile a lot
3. Fernando Alonso: he'd win this race if his machine were up to the Red Bulls, but he'll settle for the third step on the podium --and expect him to hound Mark lap after lap
4. Lewis Hamilton: he could surprise me and get around Fernando if he's lucky enough to see the Spaniard make an error
5. Robert Kubica: will continue to pile up points for Renault, making it harder and harder for them to decide what to do next year
6. Jenson Button: I can't see him keeping up with Lewis, not unless this circuit has a number of low speed turns; he might pip Kubica, though
7. Felipe Massa: he IS, after all, driving a Ferrari
8. Nico Rosberg: should have a quiet, businesslike week end
9. Michael Schumacher: should have a noisy, buisinesslike week end
10. Rubens Barrichello: will try to get round Michael and probably be squeezed again
Pole: I think Sebastian Vettel will pip the Webbo by three or four tenths!
Don't know what to expect, really. Hope the Safety Car stays in!!
cheers, Jim Watt
