Well, you chaps are all going against the grain. Last year at the Hungoring, Seb slipped to third. I don't think that there'll be a repeat. So, like JacFan, here's me stabs in the dark:
winner: Sebastian Vettel (back on form and making Fernando miserable)
second: Mark Webber (chasing his teammate all day)
third: Fernando Alonso (strategy will do only so much for you)
fourth: Lewis Hamilton (cursing the red car, and finding Fernando rather difficult)
fifth: Jensen Button (relaxed and getting the job done & saving tyres)
sixth: Felipe Massa (getting the points he can and trying to get round Jense)
seventh: Nico Rosberg (I sure hope Ross has a car for him next year!)
eighth: Michael Schumacher (not bad for an old man & 7 time WDC!)
ninth: Adrian Sutil (for first of my 'silly picks' even tho' last year suggests he'll be around thirteenth)
tenth and my second silly pick goes to Vitaly Petrov just because he's a racer and I like him ... but he may be shunted by his partner early on)
pole: Sebastian Vettel ... and he'll motor away from Lewis & Fernando; poor old Mark will be on the 'dirty side' & have to work to get round them
hope for a good race, but this course isn't a thrilling one
cheers Jim Watt

My Racing Gods: Fangio, Vukovich; Senna & Mears --all racers all the time; graceful winners & generous in defeat, but never giving up!!

Thanks
Well I am stunned I was No.1 for this GP.
After a season of frustration with my "technical and scientific" choices I decided to go back to the "gut feel".
Happy that Jenson won, even though I put him well down the list, but the more winners there are the better for F1 I believe. I just want Webber to get a win this year but it is looking more unlikely.
Thanks NewsOnF1 for running this competition.

After receiving the notice that I was No.1. I felt it was time to enter the forum rather than just be a lurker.
Now waiting for my last flight of the day, watching the snow starting to cancel flights and a storm coming acrosss the airport, it seems I might read some more threads.

Yes!! Yes!! Yes!! WELCOME.... nice to have new people adding something to the discussions. I personally get sick of listening to me talking to myself... and probably bore the pants off everyone else too!!! Though I guess that could be interesting.Steven Pazin wrote:Thanks for the welcome.mlittle wrote:Congrats, Steven on winning this round!Steven Pazin wrote:Well I am stunned I was No.1 for this GP.
