These be my picks for Round 1 of the 2016 Formula 1 season.

Winner: Nico Rosberg
Second: Lewis Hamilton
Third: Sebastian Vettel
Fourth: Kimi Raikkonen
Fifth: Valterri Bottas
Sixth: Daniel Ricciardo
Seventh: Felipe Massa
Eighth: Daniil Kvyat
Ninth: Nico Hulkenberg
Tenth: Max Verstappen
Pole: Nico Rosberg

This will be the make or break season for Nico Rosberg. The start of the season usually has Lewis a bit slow out of the blocks so I have Nico taking the early ascendancy.

The Ferrari's are difficult to overlook after pre-season so they have to be the next best with Sebastian looking stronger than Kimi.

I keep saying that Williams will turn the corner. 2014 they were almost on the money and, if it wasn't for those dreaded Mercedes, the could have finished at the top. This season will prove similar to 2015.

RBR, Force India and Torro Rosso will fill out the rest of the top 10.

I should do better this year, by cunningly remembering to choose for the first race:

Winner: Lewis Hamilton
Second: Nico Rosberg
Third: Sebastian Vettel
Fourth: Kimi Raikkonen
Fifth: Nico Hulkenberg
Sixth: Valterri Bottas
Seventh: Daniil Kvyat
Eighth: Daniel Ricciardo
Ninth: Romain Grosjean
Tenth: Fernando Alonso
Pole: Lewis Hamilton

Guesswork. Fairly confident Mercedes will be top and Ferrari close behind, but beyond that it could be tight. I think Haas will hit the ground running.

Unfortunately for the spectators jido, I do think that the cream from 2015 will be the cream for 2016.

I do feel that Carlos jr will be the driver to show the most improvement though. Not that he did anything wrong in 2015, just the car let him down.

Time will tell......

For those who have yet to place their 10 'n' Pole entries, the weather forecast for Saturday FP3 and qualifying is fine and about 20 degrees C (about 68 degrees F).
