Winner: Fernando Alonso
Second: Lewis Hamilton
Third: Giancarlo Fisichella
Fourth: Nick Heidfeld
Fifth: Kimi Raikkonen
Sixth: Heikki Kovalainen
Seventh: David Coulthard
Eighth: Alex Wurz
Pole: Lewis Hamilton
A lot of us are choosing Hambone to get his first pole at Monaco. I predict an all McLaren first row leading with Hamilton and an all Ferrari second row leading with Massa (who is obviously faster than Raikkonen in the Ferrari). Heidfeld and Fisico will be next.
Raikkonen, who will be on the inside of the starting lineup going into the Saint Devote squeeze, will knock Massa, who will make a poorer start although recovering well, into the outside barrier causing all manner of speculation about the Finnish driver's future at the Scuderia.
Hamilton will give way to the charging Alonso at Saint Devote avoiding a similar fate a few yards further ahead. Webber and Kubica, who will be making great starts on the outside will get caught up in this mess. This will be a gift to Alonso, Hamilton, Fisichella, Rosberg and Heidfeld who will make it through with no incident. Rosberg will suffer a puncture which will put the kabash on his race. After replacing his damaged front wing, Raikkonen will come home a distant 5th passing Heikki Kovalainen on the last lap.
How's that for a screen play?

Sounds like the kind of movie Ron Dennis would pay for. Not pay a lot. But pay. On the other hand, aren't you forgetting how fast young Lewis starts? Anyway, if the race IS, in fact, as interesting as your screenplay, it will be a great pleasure for me to watch...
After I get home from the Indy 500. Which actually DOES, as of this moment, look like it will be an interesting race.
Monaco? It will be just another Monaco. Unless, of course, Kimi does a Rasscasse-gate.

I will either rocket back into the top 10 or rocket outside the top 200
Winner : Fernando Alonso (Twice in a row)
Second : Kimi Raikkonen (Will finish 2nd this year)
Third : Nick Heidfeld (with Hamilton and Massa out, he will make the podium)
Fourth : Giancarlo Fisichella (Typical Fisichella)
Fifth : David Coulthard (Typical DC)
Sixth : Nico Rosberg (See, you should have stayed at Williams Mark!)
Seventh : Mark Webber (Oh bugger!!)
Eighth : Jarno Trulli (Ralf crashes, Trulli finishes)
Pole : Fernando Alonso (By 0.03 seconds last time, this time he will get it!)

With JacFan & Jay Vee picking Fernando;
With Julian and Snowy picking Lewis &
With Jay Vee not evin picking Lewis to podium--
I'm feeling even better about the Kimster's chances.
Ah, but there are all those fine points about the tyres and the street's bumpy surface and the iffy weather and the distractions of all the fine... distractions... of the principality...
None of which I am factoring in at all. Does anyone care to guess the highest finishing Honda?
I would say 12th. Say Jenson B.?

Ok, Lewis may win the WDC in 07, but Sato will beat him in 08.
