Pole Day Qualifying Order............

IMS officials released the qualifying order for Pole Day Qualifications Saturday; under the new format, which likely will see its' first use tomorrow, each driver gets 3 attempts per day of qualifying..........tomorrow's qualifications will lock in positions 1-11, while Sunday's qualifications will lock in positions 12-22. Next Saturday, positions 23-33 will be locked in, with any bumping to occur next Sunday....

Let's see......Julian and I are debating what the great motorsports races are(I say INDY!, You say BATHURST!....... :lol: :lol: :lol: ), T-K's giving flying lessons in the Cessna plider(..... :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: ......) and pole qualifying is set for tomorrow.......

While roaming aboust the paddock and pit areas today, there were lots of talk about what the speed necessary for pole Saturday would be......here's what the drivers had to say:

9 am-11 am} IndyCar Series practice
12-6 pm} Pole Day Qualifications
~~each qualification run consists of four timed laps; the speeds are averaged and it is that average that is used to set the field for the race; if there are no cars attempting qualifying runs, series/track officials have the option of opening the track for practice
