Hang on...We could be doing a massive dis-service to our country bagging Fosters like this...

They may end up having to sell the over-supply here because people cotton on that it is cr*p beer..

Fosters - I love the stuff, its great, can't get enough. Its just a pity they export all the good stuff and don't sell it here

Hey, for the yanks whats the alternative. American beer? be serious. Although they could start drinking more German stuff. Fancy a heinie?

Far Nth Oueensland lager - Never heard of it....I hope your not trying to push XXXX. Coz that stuff is Camel's P*ss
Cascade - Not Bad

Some Others I'd recommend:
Toohey's Extra Dry
Little Creatures Pale Ale, If you can get your hands on it. Is a local WA Boutique Beer so may by almost impossible.
Swan Draught is OK
Carlton Premium Dry
James Squire, another WA Boutique beer
Boag's is not bad

Stay Away from:
Fosters
XXXX
West End
Emu
VB

I wouldnt offer a xxxx to anyone, cept Moseley or Bernie

they called it XXXX because after you have a drink you dance around screaming XXXX, XXXX, XXXX

I find it quite amusing that a FULL strength US beer has around 2% alcohol the same as a LIGHT Aussie beer.

No wonder when their Sailors come out here and get on the squirt they end up passed out in the gutters.
