The Bahrain Grand Prix is on the 6th of April. Pick submissions close on the 4th of April prior to the start of the 1st Friday practice session at 10:00 local time (07:00 GMT).

Looks like I'm first to post picks for the Round of Bahrain.........................

1st} Lewis Hamilton(who's this Alonso character I keep hearing about........... )
2nd} Nick Heidfeld(proving BMW-Sauber's for real this year....... )
3rd} Felipe Massa(that's what I keep thinking, Hamilton......who is this Alonso anyway? )
4th} Fernando Alonso(.........why I am stuck in 4th this week? )
5th} Heikki Kovalainen(......at least Hamilton won this week........... )
6th} Jarno Trulli(................. ..............)
7th} Nico Rosberg(................... ........................)
8th} Robert Kubica(hey, somebody's gotta' finish 8th......this week its' Kubica's turn!!! )

And for pole position..............Kimi Raikkonen




Now, I know what you're thinking..........he's gone off the rails; he didn't pick Raikkonen for a points-paying position? There's a simple reason...........everyone has a bad race every so often..........this week its' the Iceman's turn.

Winner : Kimi Raikkonen. will finally do it

Second : Felipe Massa. Felipe will keep it on the black stuff

Third : Lewis Hamilton. Wont have the straight line speed

Fourth : Nick Heidfeld. pushes Lewie close

Fifth : Robert Kubica trails off his team mate

Sixth : Heikki Kovalainen. Has an off

Seventh : Mark Webber. Chases hard

Eighth : Nico Rosberg. Just pips Coultard for the last point

Pole : Kimi Raikkonen

So. Here's me picks:

The Kimster finally gets a Bahrain Top Step (just hope he remembers that it ain't Champagne they're spraying. He'll have to wait till he gets to the garage

His Loyal Little Friend, Fast Phil in the other Ferrari (that is if he can keep from spinning his speedy ride into a sand dune! Indeed, he'd BETTER. Or the Maranello Men will be looking for another chauffer! They're in a WAR this year with McLaren and can't afford to throw away points any more!)

Cool Lewis will get McLaren some podium glory

4th Place: Speedy Robert K. in the BMW/Sauber!

5th: Der Neat Nick H. in the other BMW/Sauber

6th: Two-Time WDC Fernando Alonso will D-R-A-G his Ray NO across the line on sheer talent!

7th: trying to get to the pits as soon as possible, the OTHER Finn Heikki in the other McLaren, picking up a couple of points --and der Ron Dennis VILL NOT BE HAPPY with the junior driver

8th: Jarno Trulli will try to save Toyota again and once again dip into his skill and luck bag

the Pole (at LAST!!) will go to the Kimster because Felipe will still be nervous about his rear end stepping out on him

I am READY for Formula One to find its way back to Europe and some actual circuits that really test driver and machine!

I just got my picks on my email and I discovered that I lost my nerve at the last moment and put Felipe in for the Pole!

I hope I am wrong about that; I REALLY REALLY want Kimi to beat him in the qually game.
