:( Well, Race Fans, after the debacle in the Hungoring, I have almost fallen out of the the top 200 (I'm ranked now 199 out of 2757). But I deserved it since I had picked Kimi to dominate and he was hardly present until the last half of the race!) no more whining, here are me picks (proof, by the by, that I never learn! Unlike JacFan and JayVee!!

1. Kimi Raikkonen (I can still spell his name)
2. Lewis Hamilton (probably on his way to a second season WDC!)
3. Heikki Kovalainen (I still can't spell his!)
4. Felipe Massa (he's caught Kimi's bad luck methinks)
5. Fernando Alonso (more fun to watch than almost anyone but Kimi!0
6. Jarno Trulli (just to show he's for real -- and get back at Timo)
7. Robert Kubica (oh if he only had a car to drive!!)
8. Nelson Piquet (I expect him to qualify 8th and end in 8th)

Pole: Kimi (he said he had to work on qualifying. And so I think he will. Of course Ferrari might put some magic in the engine dept for him!)

Cheers and I hope the race is more fun than Monaco!

Sixth : Jarno Trulli (street might suit him)

Seventh : Nico Rosberg(street might suit the car, hopefully)

:D Well, Jay Vee & Kappel were both certainly right about lil' Fil's qualifying skill! I am totally flummoxed by Kimi's lackadaisical approach to Saturdays!

I know he CAN go fast; I know his CAR can go fast and I would expect a defending WDC to do everything in his power to defend his WDC. No one, for instance, can say Fernando is 'laid back' and indifferent!

Still, I slept in this morning and didn't get to see the qualifying; the Torro Rosso guys appear to be really getting their act together. Will there ever come a day when the customer team is beating the big red machines? (that's not a real question, folks)

Seriously, Jay Vee, you're not so far off as you think. I believe it's time for another Lewis Hamilton fiasco; he may not even finish the race. Everyone's picking him to podium or better, but you may well be blessed with prophetic vision picking Fernando to finish better. I hope you're right, too.

Setting my alarm clock now
