Predict Fastest Lap (USA - JayVee wins!)

Post by Tim » Thu Jun 16, 2005 10:49 am

Its time again for you to have a crack at the Fastest Lap time of the Race so lets see who can be closest to the Fastest Lap time this round.
If someone gets a perfect match or near perfect (+/- 0.1 seconds), we'll give away a prize. And an even better prize if you get the time and the driver and better still if you get the time, the driver and the lap number!

Please include the time to the 1000's of a second, the driver and the lap number. You can if you wish include a wet time as well

For reference, the Fastest Lap time from 2004 in the USA (Indianapolis) was 1:10.399 (Rubens Barrichello)

The Fine Print
One entry (dry and wet) per user with one change per condition allowed. Entries close prior to the start of qualifying session on Saturday
The winner will be the one who manages to predict the closest time. You need to be within 0.1 seconds of fastest lap time to be declared the winner.
In case of two players predicting the same time and driver, the player who submitted earlier will be the winner.
Changing time and/or driver is allowed only once and the change cannot be a max or min to try and gain advantage (eg. if the highest fastest time posted is a 1:45.345, a player cannot change their time to a time above that)

Ok, Lewis may win the WDC in 07, but Sato will beat him in 08.

Montoya, 1:12.066 on lap 24 (dry)
Montoya, 1:22.311 on lap 64 (wet)

Can't see how the time will be quicker than last year

And how come neither Julian nor Rah have Webber for dry or wet

I wouldn't dream of putting my favourite driver with the fastest lap. There are faster cars out there. How long they last is anyones guess. Of course we know who your fave is now don't we.

Nah, never do, used up all my luck in a "theatrr of war" as the politicians and Generals call it. Somebody said, after WWII, and no, I was not even born then, "all politicians and every one over the rank of Major should be shot, to prevent this ever happening again" Pity it did not happen
