How can you be so sure ?F1greyhound wrote:The GPWC(which wont happen..) would face the same problems.
Currently the revenue isn't ditributed evenly and that is creating the most friction.
Factual or not, the FIA as well as Bernie are seen to favour Ferrari
The rules and regulations are ambigious to say the least and the FIA seems to want to keep it that way so they can interpret each case on who the guilty party is. BAR Honda were treated harshly this year, Williams and Toyota were disqualified in Canada yet Ferrari get away with errors (more tyres allocated, stewards late in imposing penalty!!, wrong way of measurement)
The constant fiddling with the rules
The lack of an independent appeals court
If the GPWC addresses those issues (especially the financial side), I don't see why they would have the same or more problems.
Bottom line, Max Mosley and Bernie Ecclestone are past their use by date IMO and as they insist on controlling the sport in dictatorship fashion, a split will happen.
I agree Graham that Money is the cause of friction here.
I believe Bernie has offered more money to other teams from 2008(how much i dont know)
I think apart from money, the teams should negotiate in terms of rules(N then comply to them for atleast 5 yrs), Max Mosely drowned in the Atlantic ocean(not in the Indian ocean please,i dont want him here ) , number of races(time frame) N in an event like in US,FIA has no say ,only teams decision should count.(Teams to be consulted on every critical issues.)

I doubt that you would ever get concensus from the team managers, KappyKapel wrote:I agree Graham that Money is the cause of friction here.

It would be much better for the races under GPWC than under FIA.Graham Ross wrote:How can you be so sure ?F1greyhound wrote:The GPWC(which wont happen..) would face the same problems.
