Interesting quote from Max

Post by lemon_martini2 » Mon Jun 20, 2005 7:33 pm

As reported on Radio 2(Britain's most-listened to radio station)

Max stated that if the teams had changed the rules then 'we would not have been taken seriously as a sporting body'.

Well,we all honor and respect them now don't we?

The whole U.S GP went balls up, so he can say whatever he wants, its not going to help change the attitudes of all those disgruntled americans (disgruntled is the understatement of the year)..or any body else for that matter, coz everybody has their own opinions.

His sad attempts to save face will not work around these here parts.

How he can say 'we would not have been taken seriously as a sporting body' is complete hogwash, i would have more respect for them as a "sporting body" if they had managed to come to a compromise.

But hey, what do i know.....
