My sister (ex Seth Effrican now in Perth) would love to race a V8. She did the V8 driving thing for her birthday a while back and just wants more......Julian Mayo wrote:Much to the relief of race commentators I would imagineGhoGho wrote:I think Sarel v/d Merwe retired.......<T-K> wrote:

I can imagine......I did testing in a Formula Palmer Audi last year, and that was incredibly powerful......Now stand that next to one of 'em V8 machines and you could almost mistake the FPA for a push cart......

Tasman MotorSport is set to be an all Kiwi line-up next year, with the pending arrival of Greg Murphy. I believe Greg has invoked a "Performance Clause" in his contract with Supercheap Auto to gain release from that team. The clause came into effect when Greg could not finish 5th or higher in the championship, which is now the case.Julian Mayo wrote:Jason Richards has signed a contract extension til '08 with Tasman Motorsport. Jason has been with the team, run by Greg Murphy's dad, Kevin, since its inception in '04. There is no word about his teammate Andrew Jones.
Greg is rumoured to be unhappy with his present team.
Greg has stated officially that he will see out the season with Supercheap, and willl only say that he knows where he will be next season.
