The Team McLaren Mercedes team completed its three day testing programme today at the Paul Ricard circuit in France.

Alex Wurz and Pedro de la Rosa were both in action today and over the last three days have completed a total of 694 laps and 2564 km between them.

The mixed weather conditions today dictated the testing programme, with the team moving from the main track configuration where they have been based for the last two days to the short track (a reduction of 574m in track length) at 11am when it began to rain.

Alex and Pedro were both running similar tyre programmes today focusing on the forthcoming San Marino Grand Prix. The pair alternated between dry, intermediate and full wet Michelin tyres depending on the weather conditions.

Pedro was the fastest man on the circuit today with a time of 57.276s, while Alex was second fastest with a time of 58.102s.

Alex Wurz
"This week I have put a significant number of kms on MP4-20, and have become much more familiar with the car. I am pleased with the progress we have made and would like to thank the test team for their efforts."

Pedro de la Rosa
"Today has been a productive day, despite the weather and I have completed 104 laps of trouble free running. The car has performed well in the changeable conditions."
