29 November: Testing Report - Barcelona - Day Two

Location: Circuit de Catalunya, Spain
Drivers: Alex Wurz and Pedro de la Rosa
Weather: Sunny and cold

Testing continued at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya today, with four other teams joining Team McLaren Mercedes and BMW Sauber on track. (WilliamsF1, Toyota, Red Bull Racing, Scuderia Toro Rosso)

Alex Wurz completed his planned programmes for the day with an interim MP4-20B, and posted a lap of 1m17.757. Pedro, who was also in the 20B, completed his Michelin tyre programme for the day as planned. Both Alex and Pedro covered 633km in total. All the teams bar Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Toro Rosso ran with V8 engines.

Tomorrow will see a pre-scheduled break in Team McLaren Mercedes test programme, with track action beginning again on Thursday. Juan Pablo Montoya will be testing on both Thursday and Friday. Pedro will be present on Thursday, with Gary Paffett returning to the cockpit on Friday, after his test on Monday when he completed 58 laps.
