There will be significant tributes to "The king of The Mountain" at Mt. Panorama this year.
They include a perpetual trophy awarded to the Winner of the "1000",
the race will be dedicated to Peter,
the front row of the grid will be left vacant as a dedication of his achievements on the Mountain,
All cars competing will carry his famous "05" decal, which was retired in 1997,
There will be a Champions lap of honour prior to the race start, with as many of Peter's winning cars as possible, driven by his co-drivers.

9:22am Chaplain's Address by V8Supercars Chaplain Gary Coleman.
9:24am One minutes silence
9:25 The song "Heroes" will be performed by Iva Davies
9:30am V8Supercars form up, in pit lane.
9:35am Australian National Anthem.
9:40am Pit Exit opens.
9:45am Cars grid up.
10am The Flag drops........
