guys, I stress this, I may have mislead you just a tiny bit, cos I am new at this and bloody freds do not respond as well or as cleverly as a 1yo fillieswho are the idiots of the equine world.
The comp is about picking the order of the top 10 at the end of the shootout . When we 1st started it was about round winners and pole getter, but that had to change because of the difficulties in getting data, if for some life threatening situation I could not watch the race. Obviously some of you have missed the change, for which I apologize. The other factor is that some rounds have two races, three races, or 1 race which does ED's head in when he tries to score it. I also said at the start that this would be a Trial by error, seat of the pants, "help the bloody wings have just fallen off" sort of thing, with an objective of presenting a less amateur V8 sub forum next season, if the support is there. And I said this season is all about having fun, and making mistakes so you can all put down the tar n feathers....now would be good.
I am quite sure that Ed will find it his heart, geez he is a nice bloke, to possibly reward ALL the first season players, ...I am thinking along the lines of a personally engraved gold model of a Supercar, holden or ford, your choice.

Now the other thing I am going to do is a preview/review of each round with some historical data etc to assist in your picks. EG.....

PREVIEW
I am a bit pushed for time so:
Hidden Valley consists of a very very long straight leading to a corner, if you do not turn there and don't stop before the swamp stay in the car til
help arrives. Serious. The crocs are huge.
The corner leads to a whole bunch of other corners, some are left hand down a bit, and others are right hand down a bit, and just before them all you have to lift him foot then put him foot down again, once you get thru all these squiggly bits then you can really put him foot down cos you are are back on the straight. And there are some bumpy bits, usually just when you need to lift him foot.
ED, why are you all red in the face?
Okay, next race it will be a little bit more serious, guys, cos I will have some time

Interesting fact for people planning a trip to Hidden Valley in the future.
My first time there , walking to the track, I noticed a lot of people wearing bulging backpacks with a long plastic straw. Turned out the back packs were full of ice and the alcohol of choice. As the ice melted it soaked thru the back packs and kept the wearer cool. The straws were coping a hiding, this at 7:30 am.!
There is an all night bar at the track near turn 4, and drivers have reported that they could smell the fumes from the bodies lying outside it, driving past during morning " warm up " .. Ah Darwin,...frontier town

ED, I dont feel so bad about my "preview " .The Stone Bros site describes the track as a " 1 km straight, connected by wriggly bits"

Hidden Valley fact: On a recent trip, on the thursday pre race I observed five prison inmates( the garb is fairly distinctive) mowing the infield lawn and doing a general clean up, without guards. They were in the beer tent down the other end of the track!...When asked one of them said.. " we promised them a beer if they don't bolt...so they won't"....Ah Darwin, my kinda town

Northern Territory Drivers fact : entering a sweeping right hander, you sensibly back off ( lift em foot ) to about 220kmh,and proceed to accelerate ( put em foot down again ) thru the sweeper a la " The Professor " aka Prost, then You see a copper going the other way, your heart rate hits 220 out of sheer reflex, You pass at the apex, and he gives you a nonchalant wave, ......aaahhhhhh ... The Territory.....my kinda State
