WHAT ABOUT THE ROAD?

Post by Julian Mayo » Sat Oct 01, 2005 7:54 am

The latest mercedes "S" class car has 150 buttons scattered around the cabin INCLUDING 27 on the drivers door alone. It also has a central command dial on the centre console for the main menu and other other functions. So thats two hands that are busy. It still has to be manually steered, so thats at least another hand. am I missing something, or with all this happening, who is watching the road? Or has genetic breeding taken a twist that I dont know about?

Julian I thought you said you had kids.
Buttons are for kids to play with, so that after a week half of them are stuffed and all of them are coated with sticky goo.

Good point Lloyd. I forget that not all kids were raised with the rules applied to my ute, ie touch anything and I shoot the Easter Bunny....scratch anything and Santa gets it too....break anything they both get chopped and Bambi is lunch.

Lol, nice one.
Ok, Lewis may win the WDC in 07, but Sato will beat him in 08.
