Was never revealed officially. Well not the recent one at any rate. The first Stig was Perry McCarthy.

The current one is claimed to be Julian Bailey or Damon Hill.

At one point Nigel Mansell's name came up as well

Then Button muddied up the waters even more by saying "(the Stig) ain't an F1 driver"...
