UFC 74 Results...................

~~~Main Event....................Randy Couture retains the UFC heavyweight belt after winning by TKO at 1:37 of the 3rd round over Gabriel Gonzaga; Couture, at 43yo, dominated the fight from start to finish, never allowing Gonzaga to get into a consistent rhythm, keeping the fight standing the whole time
~~~~Undercard Results..........................
--Georges St. Pierre has set himself up for a possible title bout early in 2008 agst. either Matt Serra or Matt Hughes(the two face off in late December for the UFC middleweight belt) w/a unanimous decision over Josh Koscheck
--Roger Huerta continues to steamroll through the lightweight division, winning by an armbar tapout over Alberto Crane at 1:50 of round 3
--Renato Sobral won by TKO over David Heath, but will likely be hit w/a fine from the UFC[and a possible suspension from the Nevada State Athletic Commission] for refusing to release a chokehold(after he had already won via. tapout, submission/TKO of Heath) :evil: :evil:
--Frank Mir, a former UFC heavyweight champion, continues his push to the front of the class w/a knockout of Antoni Hardonk at 1:17 of round 1
--Thales Leiter won by armbar submission over Ryan Jensen at 3:47 of round 1
--Patrick Cote, who almost lost his contract with the UFC after losing 4 of his first 5 fights in the UFC, surprised everyone by winning w/a TKO and referee stoppage over Kendall Grove at 4:45 of round 1
