There is a product sold on the supermarket shelves known as SPAM. It is apparently "real spiced ham"... hence the name. However I would be disinclined to agree with the definition of the word "edible" when used in conjunction with the word "SPAM". Others would care to differ but then others may also consider things such as pig's trotters, cold pork pies, and any form of offal also to be edible.
