The Malaysian MotoGP of 2011 has been cancelled following a horrific accident involving Marco Simoncelli and Colin Edwards. Simoncelli came off his bike in a corner and was hit by Colin Edwards, losing his helmet in the collision. Latest news mentions that Marco is in a critical condition and fighting for his life.
I hope he wins the fight.

RIP Marco. Such a tragic accident. MotoGP will be a sadder place without you. My thoughts and prayers are with your many family and friends and all your fans throughout the world.

Shocking news so soon after Dan Wheldon was killed last week
Simoncelli was amazing on his bike and not many drivers would have been able to do what he did. He was such a talent with so much promise and he was a friendly bloke too.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time

Just watched a very moving and wonderful tribute to Marco. Gone but not forgotten.
