Re: The 2020 German Grand Prix Thread
This weekend we return to the Nurburgring, home of this year's German Grand Prix.
What will be different is the lack of heat. Temperatures are forecast for a Saturday daytime maximum of 10C and a Sunday daytime maximum of just 7C. Cooling shouldn't be an issue. Just getting tyres up to temperature probably will.
So, what to expect?
Honestly, I don't know. I don't think Ferrari will have resolved their issues.
Haas probably will be at the back as their usual companions of Williams and Alfa Romeo.
Mercedes haven't liked hot races so they should be least affected.
Red Bull will probably next best however Renault have managed to turn their season around.
McLaren are just filling the lower realms of the top ten.
The Pink Mercedes have lost their way of late as have AlphaTauri.
Let's see what happens.

Re: The 2020 German Grand Prix Thread
Rain caused to cancellation of the first practice session.
Callum Ilott and Mick Schumacher both had their F1 debuts in FP1 abandoned. Ilott was due to replace Romain Grosjean in his Haas and Mick Schumacher to stand in for Antonio Giovinazzi in the Alfa Romeo.

The second session was also abandoned due to the weather.
Looks like we're getting our first taste of a 2 day race weekend with all teams behind the 8 ball.
