Valtteri Bottas will start rear of grid for Sunday's race after it was announced he has taken multiple power unit components.

Carlos Sainz lost his Ferrari in the Ascari Chicane and ended in the barrier and brought out the red flags.
It will be interesting to see if the mechanics can turn it around and get him out into the Sprint race.

Sprint Results
Pierre Gasly clipped the rear if Ricciardo's McLaren and dislodged his front wing.
The loss of front downforce entering Curva Grande had the expected results and he crashed into the outside barriers.
The driver is fine, the AlphaTauri not so.

Pierre Gasly was penalised for multiple power unit replacements while the car was under parc ferme conditions.
He was required to start from the pit lane.
