Vettel was quickest in the first Friday practice ahead of the two Ferraris and Hamilton in 4th ahead of Webber and Raikkonen.

Whilst not knowing fuel loads, it appears that on the medium compound, Red Bull are the team to beat with Ferrari very close behind. Mercedes and Lotus are slightly further behind. The dissapointement is McLaren as they have dropped back and are just ahead of Force India and Sauber. Williams are futher behind while Toro Rosso seem to be very close to being caught by Marussia.

Standouts: Massa, Hamilton, Sutil, Hulkenberg and Bianchi

Vettel was again quickest at the end of the second Friday practice ahead of Webber and Rosberg.

With the super softs fitted, Vettel seems untouchable and the Mercedes and Lotus have a very good outright speed whilst Ferrari appeared to have struggled on them.

Behind the top 4 teams, the picture hasn't changed much from the morning session.

Mercedes however had both drivers stop on the track with problems which is a cause for concern
