Just to clarify, Viso will be the team's 3rd driver on Friday. As far as we are aware, Albers and Monteiro will be racing for Spyker in Brazil.

You are correct Ed. I read on formula1.com that he was driving but further information has Ernesto Viso as a Friday driver.

A record 8 players top scroed this round with 38 points.

5 of the 8 players submitted their picks for this round and pingf1 was the earliest to submit their pick.

The average score was 26.04

Congratulations pingf1, you have won a NewsOnF1 Compact Smart Digital Clock with Alarm.

Please give us your comments on how you've managed such a stunning pick!
All other players can contribute here as well. We'd love to hear from you.

JD extends the lead to 12 points ahead of SILVERFOX with dinosh_12 taking back 3rd place a further 5 points behind

With 1 round remaining, will JD become our 2006 8 'n' Pole Champion ? JD sure has a good gap but it certainly isn't guaranteed.
We'll know next week!

The Overall Top 20 is available here

The Japan Top 100 is available here

The Popularity Picks for the round of Japan is available here

Your Score for this round is 32 and your Rank for this round is 69 (Top score this round: 38)

Your Total score is 425 and your Overall Rank is 450 out of 2004

I feel some satisfaction this round! Just 6 points away from the top scorers. Not bad!

Next year will be my year :D
