Well, its the fastest circuit on the tour, and 15% of the lap is spent braking.
So who has got the lowest downforce (drag factor), and is most stable under brakes? The guys need to attack the Curbs (Kerbs) aggressively so the engineers can't set the cars to low, yet they need to be as slippery as possible. BMW could be a good chance??
Spyker could stir up the mid-field with the new B-Spec car.
I reckon Massa n Hambone will dook it out at the front, then a 4 way battle for third.
If the thing holds together, the RBs are quick in a straight line, and they do have a guy who knows a little about aero. 5th n 6th could be a ding dong go.
Thanks to channel Ten, we get to see it about 2am. The World Cup Rugby better be bloody entertaining. At least the V8Supercars will be, on Saturday and Sunday.

With 77% of each lap with the go-pedal buried to the metal, aggressive attacks on the cur....ker...bumpy bits on the edges of the corners, so the rev limiters are at top load when the rear wheels come back to ground, and the rev span the engines have to cope with, how many retirements will there be?
Naturally Mark will be the first to go .....
but some reckon Kimi is a car breaker.
Hambone hits the corners hard.
I reckon the rubber bump stops they will run, will be worn thru at 3/4 race distance

Greetings F1 Fans:
Here are my fingers-crossed picks. I assume that the Ferarri's will be fast and fearsome, but because it is, after all, their home race, one might expect (given their record this year) to see BOTH red machines DNF and the Tifosi riot! Still, I'm picking the Kimster to snatch the pole from Phil (that's Felipe, his team-mate)
and for
my favorite still, the Ice man K. R.
his little team mate Massa
by hook (or mayhap by crook) the Current WDC [tho' he sure don't LOOK it) Fernando the cute
4th: & still: Lewis Hamilton
5th & getting respect at last Quick Nick Heidfeld
6th: the world's second fastest Finn, Heikki K.
7th: each race his light dimming, the other Renault chap, Giancarlo Fisi what?
8th: & about to depart from Williams for greener pastures, I hope, Nico the German
Can't wait for Qualifying; should be a good show, too!
Jim Watt
P.S. dear JacFan: you have my sympathy since your man has announced he will be racing pick up trucks for NASCAR! I guess his CD sales and his restaurant aren't bringing in the coins these days!
