Hmmm me thinks that is bordering on sarcastic I just assumed that many of you guys would know all the nuances of the tracks and tyres etc.Julian Mayo wrote:Hell, I give it at least 30 seconds of deep ponderingjacfan wrote:They are my tips through 8'n polecmlean wrote:Well done jacfan.
Did you do this through 8 'n pole or just post in this thread for fun?
Not that it really matters anyway. I'm still undecided on what my picks will be but will submit it by tomorrow (Thursday).

Sarcastic ? never. Many of these guys devote hours to their selection, based on historical data, current performance, and for all I know, who's having a birthday, which driver has backed another at the tab, chicken entrails, gibbous moon etc. Had I the desire to do so, I don't have the time.jacfan wrote:Hmmm me thinks that is bordering on sarcastic I just assumed that many of you guys would know all the nuances of the tracks and tyres etc.Julian Mayo wrote:Hell, I give it at least 30 seconds of deep ponderingjacfan wrote:

Basically that is why I said that I just take a stab in the dark.Sarcastic ? never. Many of these guys devote hours to their selection, based on historical data, current performance, and for all I know, who's having a birthday, which driver has backed another at the tab, chicken entrails, gibbous moon etc. Had I the desire to do so, I don't have the time.
However the birthday could be an issue in decision making. Hence I did not put JV in the top 8 this week as he has just tied the knot and could have other things on his mind. Not sure about the chicken entrails...... unless some of the drivers are using them to throw on the track to remove the competition.... perhaps that will be a new trick for MS
