yup
to explain what I meant in the last post, this is an aero device>>>>... / ....
that is set at an optimum angle to the slipstream, the slipstream is affected by the vehicle's inherent bounce recovery, whether it be on a straight or entering, exiting a corner.. Change that, and lets say entering a slightly bumpy corner, at the end of a straight, then the whole aero for braking downforce is affected............bugga 8)

What risk ? If I am reading what Kapel is saying correctly this seems to be a fight between the FIA and the stewards. If the stewards OK something they can't penalise a team for that

Exactly JayVee.But the consequences if FIA wins the appeal could harm Renault in someway as the FIA had banned them prior to the race.

I think last year the stewards allowed BAR on that fuel tank issue & the FIA banned it N u know what the penalty was..thats what i mean by risk

which has been their stength i believe? & without the dampers it could ruin their traction advantage in the corner, especially exiting the slow one?

The FIA has contested its legality on the basis that no parts exerting an aerodynamic influence may be mobile.

If that is the case aren't brakes as well as wheels illegal?

Sorry should have been clearer, it was Albers in the MF1 Racing that blew another Toyota engine!
