So Kubica had outran 6 drivers, after when lazy mechanics from his team messed up his pit stop, which took more than 10 seconds.

Kubica had a long stop as there seemed to be a problem with the front jack

Did Ralf drive today?
Reliability (lack of) is killing Ferrari. What's the bet Mad Max fixes that for them.

Fernando Alonso won the race without too much threat for Lewis Hamilton who had to fend off the threat from Felipe Massa during the first lap and then had to overtake Raikkonen after the second stop.
The Ferraris were not match to the McLarens today and the reliability problems continue to hurt them badly. Massa looked fast but only lasted a few laps. Raikkonen never looked very fast particularly following his crash in Saturday practice.
Nick Heidfeld managed 4th again in the BMW Sauber with Kubica close behind. Kubica had trouble in the pits and may have finished 4th had those problems not occured.
Nico Rosberg continues his superb form putting the Williams in 6th place while Kovalainen manages 7th and once again beating his team-mate.
Jenson Button makes the top 8 scoring the first point for Honda this season. Well done.
Your thoughts and the driver of the day ?

Undoubtedly Robert Kubica. I'm his fan, it's true, but what has he done today is rewarding. Getting from 11th place to 5th was like Massa's race few races before.
Well done Robert!

I am happy for Williams and Nico Rosberg.
Too bad the Ferrari mechanicals failed

Well done Alonso
He showed everyone the way. Not a single mistake and needed just one hot lap to qualify on pole and was a lot heavier than Hamilton.
He was simply untouchable!!
He must have stepped up a gear or cleared his mind after that inquiry or is simply working away by himself and not giving all the technical feedback to Hamilton. Let him find his way on his own
The rest, well Kubica and Rosberg did well.
It is sad though to see one win and barely celebrate. Sure there were smiles but they were not happy. Remember Alonso celebrating his win at the Nurburgring, that was something. This time there was nothing.
Anyway, bring on Spa be it dry or wet but Alonso will be leading the championship on Monday
(I know, I know, McLaren could be kicked out on Thursday. then Alonso would be in that Renault on Friday

)

Massa suffered a rear damper( shock absorber ) failure.
Ferrari won't admit to it, but I think it is highly likely that is what put Kimi into the fence.
