But one wonders how much those tyres will last ?

Looks like no one will get Pole time, maybe we were too conservative :shock: :shock:

I am amazed by these times. And the cars are supposed to be slower.

If the Toyota and Red Bull can put such lap times, add at least half a second for Renault and McLaren :shock: :shock:

We're looking at a low 1:32 for Pole

What 'slow down' rules are they talking about. :shock: :shock: :shock:

Just over 5 minutes to go and the top 8 are:

Trulli (1:32.832), Klien, Alonso, R Schumacher, Coulthard, Raikkonen, Davidson and Montoya.

Button and Heidfeld yet to set a time. There seems to be a problem with Button's car. Can't confirm if it is engine related though

They've managed to get Fisichella out in time after his spin in the gravel. Very fast work!

And he is the fastest Bridgestone runner

Session over. Top 8: Trulli (1:32.832), Klien, Alonso, R Schumacher, Coulthard, Fisichella, Raikkonen and Heidfeld.

Davidson did the most laps with 15. Heidfeld did just 5

Button didn't go out on the track this session.
