Strange what the Renault's are doing. They are just doing slow laps! Almost like installation laps!!

Massa did an error in the middle sector on his first timed lap but now he goes fastest with a 1:21.679.

Kovalainen and Hamilton on the track now

Hamilton goes fastest with a 1:21.410. He is on the harder compound.

The Renaults are still circulating lapping near the 1:50 mark!! 8 timed laps for each so far

Halfway into the session and the top 8 are: Hamilton, Kovalainen, Massa, Vettel, Raikkonen, Glock, Heidfeld and Nakajima.

Alonso pits after 10 laps and a best time of 1:47.735!
