Although I don't think that is very likely, Fernando has definately shot himself in the foot. If there is the slightest truth to the fears Fernando has about McLaren favouring Lewis they will be amplified ten fold now and as for data sharing that is now definately history.Julian Mayo wrote:SCOOP!!!!! In breaking news, we announce that Ferrari and McLaren have agreed to swap Kimi and Alonso, immediately following the GP of Hungary

Perhaps the guy who fixed Lewis' tyre gun the other day was busy again todayJulian Mayo wrote:It will be interesting to see how quick Alonso's crew are tomorrow
Unless Hambone gets to check FA's tyre pressures, pre-raceSnowy wrote:Track to dusty for an attack into P2 unless Fernando makes a complete horlicks of the start. Which he is not particularly renowned for doing. You never know though, there is a first time for everything.
Strategy wise - if Lewis is fueled lighter - his race has been decimated.
And it will be the usual spin.....these things must stay in-houseEd wrote:During the 3rd session a number of interesting points happened concerning Alonso.
His laps burning fuel were relatively very slow. He may have been trying to save fuel.
At the first pit stop the team held him up for a very long time and he appeared to be communicating to the pit wall wanting to leave earlier, perhaps this got him frustrated!
At the final stop he came in, the team again didn't release him straight away (which we have seen before) but when they gave him the signal to leave he stayed their for about 5 seconds and the team was telling him to go as Hamilton had already arrived waiting for his tyre change.
This is what we saw, what conversations happened on the radio we don't know.
I think, Dennis will be obliged to make a statement given his angry reaction on the pit wall.
